Bowers did a Trump dance
TheBigLead.com is learning that Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers recently participated in a popular, yet controversial new trend among NFL players. Bowers did a “Trump dance” to celebrate a 23-yard touchdown reception against the Miami Dolphins. He had dodged a tackle from Dolphins safety Jevon Holland before scoring, narrowing the Raiders’ deficit.

In this slideshow, we take a closer look at the “Trump dance,” and how it started.

Nick Bosa originally celebrated
Bowers is the latest player to perform the dance, following San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa, who originally celebrated with the move after a recent sack. Trump later praised Bosa for his performance on social media, writing, “NICK BOSA IS A GREAT PLAYER.”
Tonight was incredibly special
Jones said, “Tonight was incredibly special. Finishing (Daniel Cormier) is up there, too. Stephan Bonnar was the first star that I fought as a young man. Everybody around me told me that I was no one and that I couldn’t do it, and I had to really work on meditation and bringing up my self-esteem for the first time to beat Stephan Bonnar. Mauricio ‘Shogun’ taught me that I could be great. Kid from a small town, never great at anything, I became a champion. D.C., it was just very personal.”
Trump's signature dance
Trump’s signature dance has become a focal point in sports following the election. At UFC 309, Jon Jones celebrated his victory by performing Trump’s dance and handed his championship belt to Trump, who was attending.
Biggest moment of my life
Jones added, “And tonight, tonight is the biggest moment of my life. To talk about Jesus in front of our president and let the world know how truly proud I am to be an American champion, it felt awesome, man. To finish Stipe, it felt awesome.”
I watched the UFC fight
Brock Bowers said, “I’ve seen everyone do it. I watched the UFC fight last night and Jon Jones did it. I like watching UFC, so I saw it and thought it was cool.”
Celebrated Trump's dance
Golfer Bo Nickal also honored Trump, mimicking a golf swing after his own win. In the NFL, Detroit Lions’ Za’Darius Smith and Malcolm Rodriguez, along with Bowers, celebrated Trump’s dance after key plays.
Entire country relates to Trump
UFC President Dana White said, “If you saw the election, the entire country relates to Trump right now. Won all the swing states; the only states she (Democrat nominee Vice President Harris) won were the ones you didn’t need ID to vote in. It would’ve been interesting if you needed ID. I feel like the whole country … I feel like somebody hit the reset button.”
It was a blowout
White added, “However this election went, everyone was hoping it was a blowout either way, so there would be no more [expletive]. What I think is, everybody is tired of the [expletive]. We’re all tired. We all just want to live our lives and run our businesses and raise our families and do all that [expletive], and hopefully all this stuff will simmer down in the next four years.”
